Department overview
The Operations department manages the logistics, vendors, inventory and on-ground execution behind LES initiatives. It ensures that the required spaces, materials and operational arrangements are in place so that every project and event can run smoothly.
Key responsibilities for incoming managers
- Manage the delivery and tracking of society inventory before and after events.
- Oversee the storage and organisation of materials used across LES initiatives.
- Communicate and negotiate with multiple vendors for society events.
- Oversee on-ground setups and ensure that logistical requirements are completed on time.
- Coordinate with relevant LUMS offices to secure approvals for events and activities.
- Respond to last-minute logistical challenges through effective crisis management.
