Since 2006, LES has helped students test ideas, lead teams and engage with Pakistan’s entrepreneurial community.
Who We Are
Founded in 2006, the LUMS Entrepreneurial Society is recognised as Pakistan’s first student-organised entrepreneurial society. It has since grown into one of the flagship student organisations at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, bringing together students who want to understand how ideas are developed, tested and put into practice.
LES creates practical routes into entrepreneurship. National competitions and conferences challenge participants to think critically and present ideas under pressure. Workshops and speaker sessions introduce them to the experiences of founders, investors and professionals. Networking events create opportunities for meaningful conversations, while longer-term projects allow students to work on real problems with teams and organisations.
Through its relationships with startups, corporations, investors and entrepreneurial support organisations, LES connects the student community with the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem. These collaborations bring business briefs, mentorship, expertise, sponsorship and new opportunities closer to students.
The learning also happens within the society itself. LES members plan large-scale initiatives, manage budgets, develop campaigns, build partnerships, coordinate operations and create the systems that keep each project running. In doing so, they learn how to take responsibility, work across teams and turn plans into outcomes.
While the society continues to evolve, its focus remains consistent: to make entrepreneurship more accessible, help students learn through experience and create work that contributes within and beyond campus.

Our Leadership
The Steering Committee provides society-wide direction and helps LES’s projects and departments work towards shared priorities. Each member brings a different area of focus to the leadership of the society.
Steering Committee 2026–27
Providing direction for LES and bringing its projects, departments and external relationships around a shared agenda. Our President represents the society and helps teams make clear decisions when work spans different parts of LES.
Coordinating work across projects and departments, helping translate society-wide priorities into plans that teams can act on. Our Vice President focuses on alignment, follow-through and effective collaboration across LES.
Guiding how LES communicates and builds trust with students, collaborators and the wider entrepreneurial community. Our Public Relations Executive helps maintain a clear and consistent public presence while supporting strong relationships across the society.
Guiding financial planning and the responsible use of the society’s resources. Our Treasurer works with teams to develop realistic budgets, understand financial requirements and make informed decisions throughout the year.
Keeping information, timelines and coordination moving across LES. Our General Secretary supports clear communication and documentation so that teams have the context they need to work effectively.
